CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ANALYST (m/w/d)

JOB OVERVIEW:

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Coordination, implementation and advancement of Kaizen events and projects (e.g. setup time optimization (QCO), problem-solving Kaizen)
  • Implementation and management of Operational Excellence at all levels and roll-out of Lean Six Sigma projects for the continuation and development of a Lean Performance Management System.
  • Implementation support, regular reporting and progress monitoring of the 5S tool at the site
  • Training of employees and managers in 5S and in the use of the internal continuous improvement database (NWH) as well as in SMED, VSM, MSA, Lean & Kaizen.
  • Drive continuous improvement at the site and implement lean tools as part of the TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) team to improve lean maturity level
  • Support and participate in the creation of value stream mapping at the site to identify improvement potentials and execute and track according to the deployment plan
  • Updating and maintaining the TEOA homepage (Sharepoint) on the intranet as well as KPIs, dashboards and the reporting structure
  • Communication of projects and TEOA topics via internal communication channels (Sharepoint, myTE, digital signage)
  • Development and documentation of TEOA training materials and work instructions
  • Deputy function of the TEOA Manager (m/f/d)

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Successfully completed bachelor's or engineering degree
  • 3-5 years of professional experience and knowledge in the field of production (e.g. plastics technology) are an advantage
  • Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt training is an advantage
  • Completed training as a Lean Expert and several years of experience in the Lean area
  • Training as a QCO / SMED expert is an advantage
  • Team-oriented with assertiveness, good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage projects, coordinate employee knowledge and develop and independently implement improvements
  • Previous knowledge of working with MES systems (e.g. SAP, Hydra) and Sharepoint is an advantage
  • Digital affinity and extensive PC skills
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • High level of quality awareness
