After studying Computer Science at ETH Zurich, Dr. Jean-Marie R. Fiechter has been working in the IT Industry for the last 40 Years. For almost 35 Years, he has held Positions in Product Development (working at the Teradata Development Lab in San Diego), Consulting, Marketing and Product Management in the Domains of Massively Parallel Processing and Data Warehousing at NCR, Teradata, IBM, SAS and CubeServ. Since 2007 Dr. Fiechter has been working for Swisscom as Head of BI Governance, Product Owner and Principal Business Intelligence Architect of the Enterprise Customers Analytics DWH, and, since November 2023, as Principal Information and Data Architect for the B2B Division. Dr. Fiechter is a Certified SAP NetWeaver BI Consultant, ITIL Consultant, SAFe Product Owner, as well as a Data Warehousing Teacher at several Universities in Switzerland and abroad and is also the Author of several Books on Data Warehousing.
